Tutorial : Teacup Candles

Good Afternoon,

I have recently become a little bit candle mad. In particular, I have become obsessed with Yankee Candles for the simple reasoning that they smell absolutely delicious. However, I have never been much of a fan of having big bulky candles plotted around my bedroom collecting dust.

And so, after seeing a cute little idea somewhere in the internet I have made these!

Aren't they pretty? Not only do they look cute and make my room smell lovely, they are convenient little jewelery holders!

--

What you will need:

 1 Tea Cup.
1 Saucer.
 3 Small Candles.
Saucepan.

--

To make them:

Buy teacups.

Glue teacups to saucers.

Pop one of the candles into the teacup to act as your base.

Take the wick out of your remaining candles.

Heat your other candles up in a saucepan until liquified.

Pour them into the teacup (BE CAREFUL).

 Leave to set.

--

I bought my teacups from Ebay for only £5 and I used the little sample Yankee Candles that you can get from any where that sells candles. I got mine from Clinton's and they're not too expensive for the little ones.
The only thing I want to point out is please, please, PLEASE be careful because you are going to be handling HOT wax which burns if you touch it. Trust me, it hurts.

I hope this was useful for you!
If you do make these yourself I hope they work out well and you love them as much as I do!

Laters,
Hayley
