Good Afternoon,
I have been fighting with my internet connection all day to get this up.
I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to do it before Valentines Day but alas, it is here!
I have been fighting with my internet connection all day to get this up.
I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to do it before Valentines Day but alas, it is here!
This is a subtle make up look that I thought would be really nice for a Valentines date.
It's not over the top or anything like that, it's really easy and simple.
If you would like to know how to recreate this, please continue down...
Cover your entire eyelid using a fluffy brush.
I used this pale pink colour which is called Toasted by Urban Decay from their Naked palette.
Using the same fluffy brush I then loaded up the crease of my eyelid with Hustle also by Urban Decay's Naked palette.
Right, now using a solid matte black eye shadow (anyone you want) and an angled brush, push the colour into your eyelash line.
Once you've done that, using the same colour and the same brush, angle it towards the end of your eyebrow to make a bit of a flick.
Right, now drag it over into the crease a little bit and colour that little triangle shape in with the matte black like in the picture above. Blend it into all the other colour.
Now for eyeliner. I used NARS Eyeliner Stylo on my upper lid just along my lash line.
Then to create the flick I lined my pen up towards the end of my eyebrow and pulled the pen down towards the outer corner of my eye.
And then just add mascara. Use whatever mascara is your favourite, I used Colossal Volume Smokey Eyes in black by Maybelline.
Also, fill in your brows and highlight however you like (I did mine like I did in my last post).
Finally, time for lips.
Line your lips with your darker colour (I used Rimmel's Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in shade 01) and blend it a little bit so the line isn't so harsh.
With a much lighter colour fill in the rest of your lips. The colour I used is MAC's Limited Edition Lady Gaga lipstick in pink.
Obviously, last of all you'll do your regular blush/bronze/powder or whatever it is you want to do.
I used NARS blush in Orgasm.
I'm sure whatever you do will look lovely :)
And voila!
I hope you like this look and you give it a go for your Valentines night out (or in ;D ).
Thanks,
Hayley
